Yissr graduated from University of Illinois Chicago UIC in 2025 with a bachelors in biomedical engineering. He is currently volunteering as a post-bacc scholar in the Huang lab looking at nanobody-targeted nanoparticles for cell-specific delivery. Outside of work, Yissr coaches a youth soccer league.
