Kaitlin McLean is a postdoctoral scholar in the Huang Lab, and a clinical fellow in Hematology/ Oncology. After graduating from Yale University in 2013 with an intensive B.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, she earned her MD/PhD at the University of Chicago. Her current research focuses on the development of mRNA cancer vaccines. When not in lab or the clinic, Kaitin enjoys going on walks with her dog Teddy, being tolerated by her cat Willow, reading, baking, and enjoying Chicago’s vibrant salsa-dancing scene.
