I am a second-year graduate student (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) from the UChicago MD/PhD program. After finishing my undergrad at Washington University in St. Louis with a major in chemistry, I decided to switch my research focus from antibiotic natural product biosynthesis to immunoengineering. In particular, my graduate work focuses on chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells. In my spare time, I like to play piano and read philosophy/theology books. I’m a big fan of anime and Asian noodles (pho and ramen)!
